Shipping Policy

Effective Date: August 5, 2024

At Plants America, LLC, we are committed to delivering high-quality, USDA-certified live plants to customers around the globe with care and professionalism. Due to the nature of live plant exports and international regulatory requirements, our shipping policy is outlined as follows:

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship internationally to countries that permit the import of live plants from the United States. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that import of specific plant species is allowed in their country.

2. Export Documentation

All shipments include required USDA documentation including Phytosanitary Certificates, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists. Additional country-specific documentation will be provided as required.

3. Shipping Timeline

Orders are processed and shipped in accordance with USDA inspection schedules and plant availability. Average turnaround time is 10–21 business days from order confirmation.

4. Packaging & Handling

All plants are carefully packaged to preserve freshness and comply with international standards. Our packaging methods meet both USDA and destination country requirements.

5. Freight & Customs

We partner with certified international freight forwarders. Customs delays, duties, and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise specified.

6. Returns & Replacements

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, all sales are final. Replacements may be issued in limited circumstances involving shipping damage or verifiable phytosanitary issues. All claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

7. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers must ensure their import permits, customs paperwork, and import regulations are in order before placing an order. Plants America is not liable for rejected or confiscated shipments due to buyer non-compliance.
